Red Rose is the debut studio album by American rapper Tribal Young Brown (also known as Tribal Brown). It was released on February 7, 2025, through Roovet Records and contains 11 tracks including the previously issued singles "Ah Yeah," "Tribe Queen," "Work" (featuring Melz Cali), and "In Da Club" (featuring DJ J.O and Dopeboy Cot).[1][2] The project runs approximately 31 minutes and showcases Brown’s gritty club-leaning sound alongside melodic, hook-driven tracks.[3]
Background and development
Between late 2024 and early 2025, Brown teased multiple album cuts on SoundCloud, including "Trapmatic" (published November 25, 2024), "Wicked," "Don't Move," "Dirty Dick," "Tribe," and an "Ah Yeah" remix featuring Melz Cali and GiGi.[4] During the album buildup, Brown also continued releasing standalone singles such as "Godieology" (featuring Melz Cali), which appeared as his latest release on Apple Music shortly after the album date.[5]
"Tribe Queen" had arrived much earlier, on October 1, 2023, as a single; it was later sequenced into the album as track 7.[6][2] Brown’s social posts across 2023–2025 intermittently promoted Red Rose material, including studio clips for "Don't Move" and announcements around "Ah Yeah" and "In Da Club".[7][8]
Composition and themes
Red Rose mixes aggressive club anthems ("In Da Club," "Trapmatic") with darker street narratives ("Don't Move") and flirtatious cuts ("Dirty Dick," "Tribe Queen"). Guest features from Melz Cali add R&B-leaning hooks and a soulful counterweight on several tracks ("Ah Yeah," "Work," "Wicked," "Dirty Dick"), while GiGi contributes to the Ah Yeah remix. Track lengths are compact (most around 2–3 minutes), suiting playlist and club rotation formats reported on streaming platforms.[1][3][9][10]
Release and promotion
Apple Music lists the album release as February 7, 2025, via Roovet Records, with 11 tracks totaling 31 minutes.[1] The iHeartRadio album page corroborates the 11-song track list and ordering, including features and the Ah Yeah remix.[2] Leading up to the album, singles and videos were promoted on YouTube and social platforms; for example, the official audio of "In Da Club" was uploaded to YouTube noting its inclusion on Red Rose.[11] "Work (feat. Melz Cali)" had appeared earlier on SoundCloud (April 2023) and was later folded into the album sequence.[12]
