First Light is a 2021 Maltese Experimental short film. It is the first Short Film that launched Christopher Sammut's career in the filming scene.
Started off as a minor project which got into more depth and pushed Christopher Sammut and a Writer and Director
First Light premiered internationally on November 12, 2021 as part of Lift-Off Global Network streaming on Vimeo and later on YouTube as a Premier release [1]
Within the first week of its debut the short film got an official selection in three film festivals and a nomination for Best Experimental Short Film with Cannes Shorts.
Plot
The story revolves around a man who is bound to re-live his life between 3am and dawn.

Filming
The original start date was April 2021, but principal photography did not begin until July 30, 2021.
