Seyra Vhal

Seyra Vhal is a fictional warrior in the Tribal Universe. She is the eighth named survivor of the cohort whose other members include The Five, Nim’Raza and Makhera. Living apart from the imperial founders, she becomes Zafira's spear instructor in Eshari: Daughter of the Dark Alpha.

Separate life

When Polezah names Seyra as a possible teacher, her identity immediately matters to the older survivors. Eshari has heard of seven members of their original cohort but has not previously been given the eighth name. Polezah locates Seyra north of the White Scar, beyond the grass basin. The Dark One explains her absence from the household as a preference for remaining apart.

Seyra should consequently not be added as an otherwise missing seventh ruler of the Six-Flame Palace. Shared origin, current residence and political office are separate relationships. Her friendship with the founders survives without requiring her to join their government.

Teaching Zafira

Polezah recommends Seyra because Zafira needs to learn the reach and discipline of a spear. Her training is demanding and physically harsh, and the young fighter later treats it as an important part of her skill. Seyra's last advice at the Calling concerns preserving that training when Zafira meets new teachers outside the island.

Appearance and combat

When Eshari meets her directly, Seyra is lean and dark-skinned, with green eyes, scarred arms and black hair threaded with silver at the temples. Her spear has little ornament. The narrative emphasizes economical, precise movement and power held in reserve. Individual percentages used during the Khar’Voth battle describe how much each warrior chooses to release, not a reliable ranking across different people.

She joins the Dark One, Knargz, Zuberi and Makhera against the Khar’Voth. The encounter reveals old familiarity among independent survivors and gives Eshari and Yanna a view of relationships that predate the palace household.

Nebu's Calling

Seyra attends the Calling and collects the winners' weapons while Polezah and his team treat them. She remains on Murder Island with Makhera and Yanna after Eshari leaves. The source supplies no exact age, biological parents, children or later death for her.
