The River Teeth are a group of fictional settlements on Murder Island in the Tribal Universe. Darro Venn comes from these communities and later appears among the young fighters at Khar’Rukan. Their recent conquest matters to the household's reaction to his relationship with Rimitorry.[1][2]
Darro Venn
Rimitorry sees Darro sparring with Veyu Orak in the lower training yard. He is approximately sixteen or seventeen, with brown skin and a scar through one eyebrow. Eshari's account revisits the same developing attraction and identifies him as coming from the River Teeth settlements.[1][2]
Imperial conquest and household rules
When the household confronts Darro, Eshari asks about his origin and states that River Teeth was conquered the previous year. He confirms both points. The exchange brings the empire's rule against relationships with boys from newly conquered villages into Rimitorry's private life.[1]
