Ossa Pell is a fictional Chamber survivor in Eshari: Daughter of the Dark Alpha. She fights with sharpened bone rings controlled through Ka’ru. Her progress from Eshari's tournament to the final Nebu Calling connects two of the novel's major public contests.[1]

Tournament

Ossa initially uses six rings, directing them around defenses and recalling them after attacks. When Zuberi criticizes unnecessary movements, she responds by making fewer weapons do more work. The exchange establishes both her talent and her willingness to improve it.[1]

Broken rings do not necessarily end an attack: their fragments remain dangerous under her control. She wins an iron circlet from Eshari and later returns wearing it, making the reward a visible connection between the two contests.[1]

Nebu Calling

At the final Calling Ossa uses eleven rings and fights alongside Vorran Thrice and Sila Venn. Their coordinated attacks combine bone weapons, a divided sword and deceptive reflections. They face the Dark One, Knargz and Zuberi after the other teams have fallen.[1]

Knargz breaks free of her initial restraint by increasing his output. In the closing exchange the three opponents turn all eleven rings back against her through a coordinated movement of darkness, pressure and redirected force. The rings kill Ossa, and her circlet falls with her remains. Her death precedes the victors' appointment as Alpha, Bote and Commander.[1]
